DILA gives start up to beneficiaries

Image
With funding from Cohere under IKEA Project, DILA is proud to support the first cohort of 19 adolescent school dropout girls in Omugo camp who successfully completed our Liquid Soap Making Training. Following the training, the beneficiaries were provided with startup materials to help them begin producing and selling liquid soap as a group. This support is aimed at promoting self-reliance, entrepreneurship, and sustainable livelihoods among vulnerable young women. Through this initiative, the girls are putting their newly acquired skills into practice, generating income, and building a brighter future for themselves and their communities. We remain committed to empowering young people with practical skills and opportunities that enhance their economic resilience and long-term sustainability. #DILA #YouthEmpowerment #SkillsDevelopment #WomenEmpowerment #Livelihoods #EconomicResilience #LiquidSoapMaking

Farmer groups receives garden tools from DILA

Image
DILA has given important garden tools to three farmer groups from Village 1 and Amuru Village in Omugo Zone, Rhino Camp Refugee Settlement. The tools include spraying pumps, watering cans, hoes, forked hoes, slashers, and panga knives. They were given at the right time as the planting season starts. The farmers said they are happy and ready to work together carefully, keep the tools safe, and use them well to improve their group farming. This support was made possible through funding from COHERE under the IKEA Project. DILA will continue to support refugee and host communities by improving livelihoods, promoting food security, and creating better opportunities through agriculture and digital technology. #DILA #COHERE #IKEAProject #FoodSecurity #
